Collection Details

"Lost Pets of New York" is a 201 piece collection in total:

• 200 pixel portraits, available for randomized minting and on secondary marketplaces.

• 1 genesis token (token #0, Genesis Hot Damn), a work of pixel art stored on-chain that both contains a collection description and pays homage to the project that started this journey into NFTs, Blitmap. There are no immediate plans to offer #0, Genesis Hot Damn for sale.

All art is stored on-chain and minted on the Ethereum network. The contract draws inspiration from ICE64 by Sam King, and is setup in 3 parts:

• The "LostPet ERC721" minting contract that people mint with/call tokenUri.

• The TokenUri is forwarded to "LostPetRenderer," a readonly contract that renders SVGs utilizing exquisite graphics by CJ Pais.

• Data for the asked id is fetched from "LostPetStore," which contains all raw data - stored via SSTORE2 - to drive the render engine and hydrates the attribute metadata.

"Lost Pets of New York" is a Creative Commons CC0 project, free to use within the standards of Public Domain.
